The other day I went to buy my wedding shoes. This was perhaps one of the easiest shopping trips I’ve ever done. I went with my mum and the stylist from the designer of my wedding dress who bought a sample of my dress (mine isn’t actually ready yet) to the shoe shop so that I could try the dress on with the shoes to get a good idea. Asides from lots of people taking photos of me on their phones as I stood there in my wedding dress (not cool btw, not cool at all) it was stress free and I bought the first pair of shoes I tried on.
Afterwards before heading back to reality and meetings my mum and I headed to lunch to celebrate at one of my favourite outdoor restaurants in London – Hush. We gorged on a selection of starters which were pure perfection. I wore simple Nasty Gal playsuit for the occasion, it’s a size too big which means it fits in a really lovely way and isn’t too bottom skimming. I paired it with my Isabel Marant Serena shoes, my CHANEL handbag and my brand spanking new CHANEL Pearl Cat Eye Sunglasses which have been on my lust list for the past few months after trying them on in Liberty and then subsequently seeing Rosie H-W and Miranda Kerr sauntering around looking effortlessly cool in them. I had my Zara black blazer with me for when the sun went in (and it sure did go in) but I enjoyed pretending I was on holiday in this little playsuit. I think that will be my new rule for London Summer dressing, if you go a size up in shorts, the fit is a little chicer and less risqué.
Oh and I also wanted to show you my latest jewellery addition, this feather ring from Pandora – I’m obsessed.
