This whole argan oil for hair fad has been going on for a few years now, and I’ve been resolutely uninterested. I’m unwaveringly loyal to Kerastase Elixir and have heard that argan oil, whilst nice, doesn’t do anything life changing to dry locks. I suffer from super oily roots and beyond dry ends. However last month at a blogger event for the new beauty lines launching in Sainsbury’s in September I got my hands on Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Total Treat Argan Oil Cream (and breathe). I took it with me on holiday as one of only a few hair products (shampoo, conditioner and heat protectant spray) and have been smoothing it onto my semi-dry ends post shower and before blow-dry. It completely smooths any flyaways without weighing down my locks- the cream is incredibly lightweight and smells delicious. It’s perfect for dry coloured or damaged hair- so that’s pretty much everyone right? It’s current RRP online is £10.99 for 100ml but from September you can buy in selected Sainsbury’s stores.
