A good lip pencil is no longer consigned just for lining purposes. No, these days a lip pencil can be as multitasking as you need it be. These three can make lips appear fuller, or act as a fantastic lip primer, or even as a full on lip stain!
NARS Satin Lip Pencil Isola Bella £18.00 here
This jumbo pencil is one I’ve raved about for a while now. This “your lips but better” colour is easily reapplied throughout the day and I love using a few coats on my lips for natural paired down makeup days, or I use it as a base under a gloss for an evening out. As it’s vitamin enriched it leaves my lips feeling super soft and comfortable as well – unlike lip stains!
Soap & Glory Marvelips £8.00 here
My newest obsession! Watch it in action here and you’ll know why. The shade is a gorgeously flattering nude that I use as an all over lip colour and the other side is a pencil gloss that highlights and accentuates the cupids bow and centre of the top and bottom lip to give a fuller and plumper looking pout. This works instantly to give a boost and the colour lasts a good while too whilst also feeling comfortable. It gets bonus points for being chocolate scented!
Paul & Joe Dual Ended Liner Cedar 02 £8.00 here
I use this one as a traditional liner to give my lips a more even and fuller look. I use the darker of the two shades to line the outer corners of my mouth and then the lighter to fill in my cupids bow and under my bottom lip. When my lipstick fades post meal time, the lined shape remains making me feel more polished. When I’m in a bit of a bind and can’t find the right lip shade, the darker shade makes a gorgeous all over nude too!
I love the sound of that Paul & Joe lip liner, it looks like it would give a great effect to the lips 🙂 I’ve only recently got into using lip liners and they have changed my life! Can’t believe I didn’t find them earlier :’)
I’d love to see more pictures of you on the blog wearing or demo-ing the products 🙂 Can’t wait for your new youtube video, you’re my new favourite beauty tuber.
