A few weeks ago I rediscovered my love for Origins Drink Up hydrating face mask and instantly felt a compelling desire to add more origins products into my skincare stash. I love everything from the smell to the consistency of Drink Up and wanted a night cream that could deliver similar levels of skin calming goodness every night. A quick tweet to skincare guru Caroline Hirons asking her opinion on the product and a pop into Boots later I had Origins Night a Mins Oil Free in my possession. I could hardly wait to use it and after a 5 hour flight on Saturday seemed like the perfect time to road test it’s hydrating properties. The moisturiser promises to banish dull, oily and generally meh complexions with Vitamins C, E & H as well as a system of time-released resurfacers so that you wake up with radiant, hydrated, fresh and calmer skin. It also promises to compensate for a less than ideal nights sleep. On first use I was instantly impressed with the gorgeous scent- not too overwhelming but just as yummy as Drink Up and the gel/cream hybrid consistency which sunk into skin without drying it out.
Having only used it for three nights I can already see a difference in my complexion, my skin is definitely more radiant in the mornings, it hasn’t given me any type of reaction and despite it being oil free it leaves my skin supple, smooth and nourished. I think I’ve found my HG night cream…
