No Makeup Makeup

A while ago Dr Perricone came out with the No Foundation Foundation, a medium coverage formula that glides on like satin and leaves skin looking naturally healthy, protected (SPF 30 natch) without looking like a mask of foundation. After that success, Dr Perricone then started to set his sights on a a whole range of “no makeup makeup” – the ethos being that it has to be easy to apply (brushes need not apply), natural, high in SPF and fuss free. I’ve been trialling the No Blush Blush (£29.00), No bronzer Bronzer (£29.00) and no lipstick lipstick (and yes, the names have definitely become tiresome).

The lipstick is like a souped up tinted balm with a slight gloss, with SPF 15 (RRP £25.00) I was reaching for this multiple times a day whilst on holiday as it gave my lips a kiss of colour and balmy protection without needing a mirror to apply – score. The blush has a little sponge applicator and can be easily dabbed on and then blended in with the fingers, I love the ease of the product and the pale candy pink is universally flattering. The bronzer is similarly easily blended with a natural finish, however the shade was a little too muddy for me, I think overall I prefer a powder bronzer, but that might just be me.

The makeup range is ideal for those of you who favour a natural, easy breezy look, or for those wanting a more paired down look for the rest of the Summer. The lipstick and blush are firm staples in my makeup bag!

The blush sounds lovely but I was distracted by your nail polish! What colour is it??
