What happens when you buy two new MAC lipsticks and then come home to two exciting deliveries? A happy dance of course. That is precisely the situation I found myself in the other day when, on a whim, I picked up both Cosmo and Kinda Sexy. Cosmo was a pure fluke, I picked up a pretty nude lipstick from the Amplified range and not only was the colour divine but it shared a name with my little brother! I had to buy. The next one was a re-purchase for me as I lost my original Kinda Sexy – a warm toned matte nude that looks particularly good with a brown smokey eye.

I then opened a package kindly sent to me by Sachajuan of their Ocean Mist. I’d been meaning to try their version of Bumble’s salt spray for a while after Jen Atkins raved about it and I have not been disappointed. The scent is light and summery and it gives hair texture, volume and a piec-y-ness to it that makes frehsly washed/blow dried and tonged locks look a little edgier.

The final package housed these gorgeous gold plated hoops by i+i – a jewellery brand that Lucy introduced me to after I spotted her wearing the same earrings at a Forever 21 press breakfast. It’s safe to say that I absolutely adore them and they’ve become an instant firm favourite.

Hands up who else is an absolute sucker for new stuff!?
