You know those days when you feel like you have nothing to wear? Well Wednesday morning I literally had nothing to wear as 80% of my clothes were packed in boxes ready for my move and the clothes I’d left behind were a mish mash of bits and pieces that I thought I may want to wear, the weather has been capricious over the past week and some days it can be swelteringly beautiful and other days miserable and freezing weather more akin to a November dreary afternoon. Nevertheless on Wednesday morning bright and early I headed out to the Wolseley for breakfast with Amelia and I flapped around my flat for ages deciding how to style the bits and pieces that I’d left unpacked. I chucked on a Zara denim skirt because it looked sunny, but then flung on this Missguided nude bell-sleeved top for a little bit of warmth close to the body. I threw on my long crepe Missguided trench coat, a pair of Dior sunnies, my Celine tote and my current footwear obsession – these Aquazurra Topshop faux snakeskin dupes.
A mish mash of an outfit but luckily the tones and textures seemed to work and it ended up being ideal for the slightly chilly but later super warm Spring morning! Success!
