Neutral Tones X Loose Layers

Warmer weather is here at last but just because the sun is out it doesn’t mean that it’s time to strip off totally…just yet. Hot sunny spells followed by cloudiness calls for loose and light layers that can be taken on and off intermittently. Yesterday I had a day of running boring business errands and a few exciting meetings so to accommodate both the weather and my range of activities I opted for neutral tones. This pale grey/khaki best from Zara works beautifully when paired with this light trench from Missguided. This trench is going to be one of my most worn Spring items, it’s so light and versatile and incredibly chic. I livened things up with my Moto ripped skinny jeans and dug out last year’s Isabel Marant aptly named Serena sandals along with this H&M Studio leather bag that I absolutely adore. Of course I had my brand spanking new Dior So Real shades on to protect my eyes from the sun (and to bring the cool factor – obvs).

All in all this combo kept me both warm and cool in equal measures and worked perfectly going from boring admin errands to fun business meetings!
