So last week I cracked and gave in to beauty blogger peer pressure…yes I purchased the much hyped NARS radiant creamy concealer. To be fair I was in the market for a new concealer as my overpriced and beloved Creme de La Mer one was coming to an end! I went into Space NK on Friday where a lovely sales assistant took off the concealer I was wearing, popped on some lovely REN eye cream and then expertly applied the concealer- I was in love but didn’t feel like being impulsive, I went home with just a repurchase of Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm but couldn’t get my mind off the concealer. The very next day I went back and bought it and the rest…is history. Now I had a bit of a debate as to which shade to go for, currently Biscuit suits me perfectly, however I’m a lot more tanned than usual so think I may go back and buy another one for Autumn Winter in Ginger. For now though Biscuit is absolutely gorgeous, it blends in creamily under my eyes to totally neutralise dark shadows, it works wonders on pigmentation and around the nose to soften any redness. It’s a wondrous product and is incredibly reasonably priced- £21 for a luxury concealer ain’t bad and it will last and last as you only need the smallest amount of product . Radiant inducing for under eyes? check! High coverage enough for blemishes? check! Long lasting? check! Wide range of shade selection? check. It’s a dream come true!
I have this concealer, and it really is good for coverage and pigmentation, but for my age group, you only need a little bit of it as you can see it when you smile and it can make it look a bit crepey if you overdo it.
