Let’s cast our minds back to last week – a time where London was bathed in warm sunshine and good vibes and not attempting to rival Christmas temperatures and Brexit division is causing things to get tenser by the second.
For an afternoon of sauntering the beautiful streets of South Kensington I wore an outfit that’s fast becoming my go-to Summer 2k16 get up. An off the shoulder Topshop top – because clavicles and so on trend, it’s also one of the most flattering trends I’ve ever come across and seems to suit most ages and body shapes. I paired it with my patchwork denim Zara skirt that I picked up last year and my new shoe loves – these Zara mules that feel so Celine it hurts. I bunged my increasingly longer by the day (thoughts on a lob?) locks into a low bun and grabbed my favourite nudey blush Chanel bag and round Forever 21 sunnies (I actually went to Ray Ban a while ago to replace them with the real thing but the fit was weird on my face and I ended up preferring my £2 from F21). This look is casual enough for a weekend but smart enough for meetings within the creative industry, you could also wear it out to dinner on a sun drenched evening (not today FYI).
Oh and also before I forget, whilst Kate and I were snapping our outfits, none other than Victoria Beckham walked past us not once but twice – major excitement levels – I hope she approved of this look. She looked amazing by the way with her new lob…seriously I want to chop my hair off badly, maybe in September!?
