So I may be half Indian, 5″8 and not in the slightest bit good at acting but yesterday I was transformed into an Olsen….well sorta. The lovely people at MAC in Somerset House for London Fashion Week gave me an eye makeover to channel the lived in, bronzed and sexy smokey eye that we’re so used to seeing on our favourite midget petite twins.
And here it is, a run down on what the lovely Gemma did to give me the kind of luminous skin/chiselled cheekbones and hollow eyed beauty a la Olsen:
As I already had a little foundation on, she just dabbed some Studio Finish NC42 on my ‘problem’ areas to give a nice glow with a lovely amount of coverage, she then used some blot powder in medium/dark and some Hush Cream Colour Base to give my cheeks a little colour mixed with some Tenderling Blush. For my Olsen esque eyes Gemma used Groundwork Paint Pot and some matte Espresso Eyeshadow mixed with a little Omega Shadow, all over the lid and brought low using a fluffy brush. To counteract the dark eye she then patted a little lipstick in the shade Cherish on my pout and voila!
