I never thought the day would come where I’d slather on a glittery body oil at 8am on a Monday morning the same way I’d slap it on on a Friday night, but it has. I’ve become somewhat addicted to Tom Ford’s latest offering the Soleil Blanc shimmering body oil and its accompanying fragrance. The oil adds an instant glamour to even a simple jeans a and t shirt combo – whilst the glitter may look chunky in the bottle it comes out incredibly subtly and just imparts an understated sparkle – nothing too Strictly Come Dancing. Think more beach goddess Victoria’s Secret model.
The scent is light and Summery with a muskier undertone that lingers around and smells like aromatic sun kissed skin. The packaging is also pretty dreamy.
The new Summer makeup palette is also a lazy girls makeup dream. Sweep a fat soft brush over the blush, bronzer and highlighter for a kick of life into sallow skin – you instantly look and feel Summer ready. I like to apply quickly over a face of light makeup, add a slick of brow gel and mascara and a dab of lip balm over MAC lip liner in Dervish. A light fresh and luxe Summer look in 10 minutes flat.
