A good tinted moisturiser is essential for those days where you feel like letting you and your skin breathe a little. Whilst more synonymous with Summer, tinted moisturisers can be great in the Winter as they really nourish and hydrate the skin as well as providing some kick ass coverage, here are my top three –

Chantecaille Just Skin Tinted Moisturiser SPF 15 – This is ideal for more mature and drier skin types, it makes my skin look a tad greasy and oily, however, this is a new occurrence and it used to work beautifully for me. Odd how our skin can change and our old favourite products become defunct! I would still highly recommend this though as a high coverage tinted moisturiser with lots of lovely nourishing benefits. But oil skinned gals – be warned!

Garnier Miracle Skin Cream – Launching this month, this product works as both a primer and a tinted moisturiser. It comes out white and then adapts to your skin tone, leaving a lovely glow with a light veil of coverage. I’d say this is ideal used alone for those days where you’re just popping out but don’t want to put a full face of makeup on, the anti ageing skincare benefits make it feel far more like a moisturiser than a makeup product on the skin. It’s also lovely as a primer, leaving a lovely glow, it boasts SPF 20 which is brilliant.

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint SPF 20 oil free My current favourite of the bunch, the coverage comes out quite well considering it’s a TM. Beautiful glowing but non greasy skin will be yours in mere seconds, it transforms dull tired skin like magic and leaves a sparkling (but not shimmery) glowing luminous dewy finish without making the oilier skinned of us look like well…an oil slick! Big thumbs up from me. I am intrigued to also try their Matte Moisture Tint though for a less luminous finish.
