You know those weeks when you have a lot of “grown up” things to do and brightly coloured nails just don’t really go? Perhaps you work in a corporate environment all the time and then those weeks are every week. Well, I’ve discovered two perfect nail shades by Deborah Lippmann which have been keeping my nails looking classic, elegant yet Spring esque and I the two have been on rotation for most of the past month. Misty Morning – a nude blue (yes I just said a nude blue), think of it as a pale pastel natural duck egg blue that with two coats isn’t too opaque and gives the nail a polished take on this seasons hottest nail hue. Like Dreamers Do has a similar effect – two coats wont get you a totally opaque colour but three will for a slightly nude greige hue that looks gorgeous with a little bit of a tan and lots of jewellery.
The longevity of the formulas are gorgeous as well and can last a good 6 days sans chipping. Have I convinced you to ease off the bright pastel neons for a second?
