So I picked up two new HG lip products whilst in New York over the weekend. There will be a post on the other one coming up soon, but for now I wanted to introduce you to Maybelline Doctor Rescue Soothing Sorbet my new HG day lip balm. When I went to research it for this post so that I could get all the deets perfect for you guys, the first thing that came up was “no more basic lip balm”. I loved that, because I feel like it sums it up so perfectly. Sure, it’s yet another tinted lip balm that gives lips a sheer glow of colour, but where it isn’t your average tinted lip balm, is that the formula is creamy, nourishing and actually penetrates the lips to give long lasting moisture which leaves lips super smooth for longer. It feels like a mix of the only baby lips, Nuxe Reve De Miel and Blistex Medi Plus in one. That’s no mean feat. The shade I chose looks beautiful too, and I’ve been slapping it on as my lip product of choice for days when I just want a wash of colour. I seriously regret not picking up more shades as these aren’t available in the UK yet, but I hear they will be very very soon!
I seriously love Babylips and it’s been a booming product so I’m not surprised that they launched something else! That color is beautiful and I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of these!
