So I’m off to Paris again this afternoon for the night and then off to Germany on Saturday, home on Sunday night. My makeup for the weekend is 100% inspired by Lisa Eldridge’s Alexa Chung video which I devoured yesterday as soon as it popped up on my twitter feed. I’ve loved Alexa’s makeup since I was 16 and spent two solid years with a feline flick and nude lipstick, this weekend it’s coming back. The Kiko shadow stick in 38 is a stunning grey/taupe which really works beautifully with a feline flick. Speaking of feline flicks (how many times do you reckon I can say that in one post?) this is the bomb for creating foolproof flicks, even Amelia commented on my eyeliner the other day, and coming from the eyeliner queen herself you know that this stuff is good! It’s the new Maybelline 36hr lasting gel liner which is a dream to apply, it’s also a total dupe for the new Benefit Push Up liner…but ssshhhh. For lips, I’m going to be using Revlon Matte Balm in Complex as it’s the most gorgeous peachy nude, and cheeks will be taken care off using my new budget buy saviour Sleek’s Sahara as it’s the most flattering terracotta shade that really suits my skin tone and works a dream with a good nude lip, thanks Laura for the rec. To keep my limbs suitably glossy I’m taking the Victoria’s Secret angel’s favourite Colbert Illumino Body Oil with me (more on that in Sunday’s post!). But if my last trip taught me anything, it’s don’t rely on hotel body moisturisers!
