Estee Lauder Double Wear – The Review

I’m going to jump straight to the point – if you don’t already – you need this concealer in your life. I’ve tried my fair share of heavy duty concealers and none have the longevity or coverage of this.

The creamy (but not greasy) formula dabs on my pigmentation and scarring like a dream and covers even the most persistent of dark spots. It boasts SPF 35 as well which for me is a God send considering I’m applying it to dark spots that are particularly susceptible to the sun. It can withstand a night out dancing,a full day on the tube without any need for touch ups – not one.

I keep it with me anyway, just in case, and because I love the compact size of the mirror – ideal for lipliner reapplication. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the EL DW line, but after trying and loving this I’m now desperate to see if the foundation is anywhere near as good. It’s fragrance free as well so shouldn’t cause any irritation. All in all, no matter what age/skin type you are, I dare you to not love this concealer for spot/scar/pigmentation or just general redness, bare in mind I do not use this under my eyes – I feel like it would be far too heavy and I prefer a light reflecting formula for there!

I wear shade 3C Medium (cool).
