Date Night Details

Last night my husband took me out for a romantic dinner as a pre birthday celebration. Today I’m celebrating with all of my girlfriends with a brunch and tomorrow (my actual birthday) he’ll be at work most of the day and then we are having a small family dinner in the evening with the usual crew. I was so appreciative of having last night’s dinner as it’s rare that we go out on a proper date to a nice restaurant just the two of us. For the occasion I opted to wear this Miss Selfridge jumpsuit which I picked up a few weeks ago.

I loved the tailoring and how well it fitted, I also found the gold belt that came with it to be very Saint Laurent esque. Due to the nature of the gold hued belt I accessorised with different tones of gold, the Astrid & Miyu drop earrings (that everyone keeps assuming are Tiffany), my mum’s Ellie Saab clutch bag (still not returned that – ooops) and my birthday present from my amazing husband who was so excited by it that he didn’t want to wait until 7am on Monday morning before he left for work to give it to me, an Hermes Clic Clac bracelet in chocolate brown (to me it looks more like Oxblood/burgundy though). I couldn’t be happier with it, it’s so classic yet cool at the same time.

I opted for my Nasty Gal biker jacket and my ancient Topshop heels (circa 2008) to complete the look. Beauty wise you’ll be seeing plenty more of that in my vlog (up Tuesday) and a full on birthday makeup tutorial (up Friday) on my YouTube channel!
