Daily Staples

 

The products that I look to daily to transform my makeup free complexion into something passable are the products that I rate the highest in my collection. They are HG staples in my eyes. Here are a few that really cut the mustard…

A good concealer: Having a good under eye concealer that brightens is a must, I love the NARS Radiant Creamy concealer for perking up my dark shadows. The formula is both creamy yet heavy duty, so it works just as well as doubling up as a blemish concealer as well.

A Lash Changing Mascara: I don’t give enough mascara enough praise, it does a magnificent job, and my current favourite performs really well. Benefit’s Roller Lash lengthens, curls and adds volume all in a few simple sweeps. It instantly wakes my eyes up (even more so than my daily four shot almond latte).

An understated Lip: I feel positively nude if I don’t have at least something on my lips, at the moment I’m wearing my faithful liner duo (MAC Soar + Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Pillow Talk obvs) underneath the new Clarins Instant Light Perfecting Balms. They are hydrating, creamy and oh so gorgeous. I’ve been particularly loving this brown toned nude shade that looks like a gorgeous pale pink once on. I love that the formula is so easy to wear and that they keep my lips looking polished without looking like I’m wearing anything at all other than a little bit of lip balm.
