The Beauty Booty is going to be a new monthly or bi-monthly feature on the products that I get genuinely excited about using every day. A little different from monthly favourites, they are more staples that have earned their place in my daily beauty bag. They are the adult woman’s safety blanket- for whatever beauty emergency throughout the day you know you’re sorted. The first product to go into the beauty booty has been in there for a while, in fact I can’t remember the last time I left the house without it in my handbag/clutch/pocket. The Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Powder has been a staple since March and I still can’t get enough, it de-shines my skin and adds a little oomph making me feel all over a little more polished and together, perfect for mid afternoon touch ups on the go. Next up is this little eyeshadow palette from L’Oreal Smoky Marron Glace, it reminds me of the Tom Ford palettes due to the extremely chic and wearable colours, works well for day and night and even if I’m wearing a different eyeshadow I still like to have this close to hand to instantly turn a one-shadow wonder into a foolproof smokey eye. I’ve banged on enough about the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer enough, but it’s for good reason, this little pot of pure pigment is always in my handbag to touch up spot scars and blemishes throughout the day. Another product which I always seem to mention but the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in soft brunette works wonders on my unusually fair brows, with a wax and powder formula and a handy brush they instantly add definition to my face. For lips I am never without my Nuxe lipgloss to change up my lips throughout the day and add a little polish or gloss. I find the glossiness particularly helpful in distracting from tired eyes!
