I can’t believe it’s the end of April already. The end of April and the end of my university life (nearly), and about to begin the next chapter of my life. So scary yet so exciting…before I get too deep let’s move get stuck in with my beauty faves!
La Roche Posay- Serozinc
I have been using Serozinc for three weeks as a toner, I love it, my skin is significantly less oily but not at all stripped. Full review here
Avene- Cleanance Masque
A new addition into the mask rotation, this 4 minute wonder leaves my skin both de-congested and exfoliated. I love it, and it hardly takes any time at all. My skin feels and looks cleaner, clearer and brighter after use, and it’s mild enough to use a few times a week which makes it a perfect Sunday and Thursday evening pick-me-up.
Phyto 7- Hair Cream
Like a hand cream for hair, this saves my hair from static, dry-ness, general un-rulyness, friz…the list goes on. It’s light weight and the perfect size to pop in a handbag, full review here
*Daniel Sandler- Long Lasting Waterproof Eyeliner in Brown Velvet
I’ve been loving this eyeliner and wearing it none stop, almost replacing my beloved Rimmel liquid liner. It glides on to the lid smoothly without pulling and doesn’t budge. It is subtle yet adds a lovely definition, and you can build it up to create the perfect Victoria Beckham-esq sexy brown smoky eye. I love it!
Bourjois-Healthy Mix Serum
I’m so glad I re-discovered this budget beauty gem. It leaves a gorgeous not quite matte yet not quite dewy effect and lasts hours, it doesn’t clog up my pores and has no SPF so perfect for evening time as no flashback! Definitely my new favourite foundation, beating even my beloved Chanel Aqua Vitalumiere.
*Daniel Sandler- Luxury Matte Lipstick in Marilyn
This shade is the perfect red for my skin tone, orange-y undertones that make my lips immediately look as though they’ve doubled in size. Long-wearing, not drying and works amazingly well with just a slick of mascara for an ‘all about the lips’ look. My bright lip of the moment.
*Daniel Sandler- Watercolour Blush in Charm
There seems to be a little theme going on here with Daniel Sandler makeup, but I can’t help it, it’s just so good. Not only is this watercolour blush beautiful in colour, but it enhances my cheekbones, leaves a dewy finish and stays put for hours. I can see why just about every other beauty blogger ever has raved about these little wonders. I also love the packaging, makes it feel quite scientific. I’ve been reaching for this daily as it really perks up my library complexion.
Maybelline- 24 hr Colour Tattoo eyeshadow in On and On the Bronze
My go-to neutral shade of the last month, it goes on creamy and gives you just enough time to blend it in, but after about ten or twenty seconds doesn’t budge, leaves the eyes looking not quite smokey yet not quite completely plain, it kind of does it own contouring…a little like magic. I can’t live without it- end of. And it’s also suuuper duper cheap. Buy it here and get change from a fiver!
That’s all for now my last monthly favourites written as a student…eek! I can’t wait to see what May has to offer, other than copious of time spent in the library!
Have a lovely Tuesday

I’m desperately trying to work out how to get over to France to get hold of Serozinc! Great post, i’m going to try the Healthy mix next time i pop into Boots, it must be good if it is favoured above Aqua Vitalumiere! I love Phyto 7 too
