What’s your favourite way to spend a free few hours? For me – nothing is as indulgent and relaxing as sauntering around a museum followed by a gym and pool session. Shopping, eating and watching/reading something is all well and good but it just makes me feel so lazy and sluggish and guilty. That’s why when yesterday, I went to the McQueen exhibition at the Tate Britain with my friend Aasiya I made sure to truly relish it – a weekday museum trip is utter bliss – so tranquil. I opted to wear this jumper from the Isabel Marant Pour H&M collection – something that had been at the back of my wardrobe for a while now as it keeps the cold out without being too thick and hot for inside. I paired it with a new pair of Topshop Leigh jeans, a Zara military style jacket, converse and my Saint Laurent handbag. A simple, easy yet chic look.

The architecture of the museum alone was enough to send me into excitement over drive, however the exhibition itself was a little bit of a let down, I’m certain that the V&A McQueen one (that I’m going to next week) will be infinitely more exciting. After the exhibition we hopped over to West London to one of my favourite stops for a healthy and filling lunch -Jak’s. I ordered the salmon, rice and tabouleh with an apple/carrot/ginger juice to drink. I was briefly tempted by Zara but decided it was time to get home to do some work, after which I popped to the gym for half an hour on the cross trainer and a quick swim – all in all the perfect day!
The outfit picture with the telephone cell behind you (if that’s how you wright it ;-), i’m Dutch) makes the black stand out even more! I love london! I’ve been there once, with school but i defenitely want to go back again. great pictures.x
Your outfit here is pure perfection. I love the photos of the museum too. I also love a good day at the museum, but don’t get to go during the week ever!
