As the clocks were unmercifully changed this weekend, meaning we lost one whole precious hour, and the fact that we had a breakfast on the other side of town at 10am on Sunday, I’m sure you can imagine I wasn’t feeling so peachy. Having just watched Goss Makeup Artist video on how to keep foundation on all day, I thought I’d give it a go, considering my early start (for a Sunday at least) and the rest of the mothers day celebrations to follow. I dually cleansed my skin, applied my Garnier Miracle Skin (available here) cream as a primer, popped on some Rimmel Stay Matte Powder all over, waited a few seconds and then went in with one pump of NARS Sheer Glow Stromboli and WOW. I hardly ever wow myself, as I have an unforgiving magnifying mirror, but that’s exactly what happened. My pores seemed to disappear, everything was even and glowing and the best part? My ‘face’ stayed on all day with no need for touch ups. The perfect concealer for this look is something light fluid and creamy and I opted for Maybelline Fit Me for under my eyes, and to be honest I hardly needed any anywhere else.
