There’s something about limited edition makeup collections that ignites my beauty love more than anything else (except maybe a peruse of the new in section in Boots and Superdrug). There’s just something so enticing about something that you know is only around for a short period of time and that is encased in beautiful packaging. When I first got hold of a few pieces from the Tom Ford SS15 makeup collection back in March I practically squealed with delight.
The sparkly body oil smells absolutely divine and looks out of this world on my dressing table, it leaves limbs looking subtly glowing a la a Victoria’s Secret angel. I predict it to be a total sell out.
The new eyeshadows encased in white and gold are also going to be a huge hit, on top you have your standard gorgeous powder formula (all shades are shimmers – amazing for Summer) and on the bottom is a mousse like texture which you pop on first to really build up the intensity of the colour. I have the shade Golden Peach and it rakes in the complements every time I whack it on with a feline flick and lashings of mascara.
The piece de resistance is of course the palette which boasts three eyeshadow shades – a tawny amethyst which is a little unusual but incredible for Summer, a frosty gold and a pale shimmery creamy pink – when paired together they look gorgeous and totally on trend with the whole 70s thing that’s so huge right now. The two blushers complement the shadows, a tawny peach and a richer plum which work really well when mixed together.
All in all, this collection is not one to miss, especially if your dressing table is in dire need of some glamour!

Oh boy that shimmery body oil looks amazing! Love using oils on my limbs in the summer.
