So it’s officially Spring, which I know I keep on bleating on about but it’s just so exciting to have some sunshine, and lighter mornings and evenings. I’ve been getting into the Spring state of mind by sprucing up my makeup and veering towards lighter, pastel peachy pink shades.
I picked up the Maybelline Colour Sensational Gloss in Cashmere Rose in the Boots 3 for 2 last week, and not only is it the perfect Spring shade, but it is the most fantastic formula and leaves lips non sticky and and fuller looking. Watch out for tomorrow’s video here to see it in action. I’ve been wearing the Revlon Matte Balm Stain in Complex under it, for a beautiful added pale peach/pink tone. This shade makes me so happy and feel all 1960s Brigitte Bardot.
On my nails for the last week – yes week has been the Topshop Rose Petal Nail Polish – I’m obsessed with this colour , it’s deep yet pinky, and flattering on all skin tones. Such a lovely Spring shade to compliment this glorious weather.
