Skincare on Tour

skinareontour

Ok so tour is a slight exaggeration. I’m going away for a few days on a bit of a road trip, Paris, Germany and Brussels – home on Monday, but I will be taking an edited and streamlined stash away with me.

As I plan on doing an early morning supermarket sweep of City Pharma on Saturday, I’m relying on replenishing my stocks over there (I’m looking at you Serozinc and Embryolisse Hydra Matt) so this is all I’m actually packing away with me.

My favourite cleanser of the moment – the Nude Cleansing Oil that essentially takes the place of any micellar water or facial oil. It’s so nourishing and gets rid of any last speck of makeup that I’ll just be using it all over my dry face to remove everything. I find that I don’t need as much skincare wise after, as it leaves my skin feeling so soothed and comfortable. I just dab on the smallest amount of Jurlique’s Calendula Serum and then a nice layer of Bioderma Hydrabio Riche. Done! For my morning cleanse I’m actually taking a bit of a wild card away with me which is a bit of a gamble. I recently tried the Body Shop Vitamin E Cleansing Wipes after a workout and my skin felt so radiant and glowing, that I then went in and picked up this baby sample of their Vitamin E Cream Cleanser. The size of the bottle is what appeals to me as it’s so cute and miniature, I’m hoping that the cleanser works out for me and that I love it as much as the face wipes. That’s quite literally it for skincare, apart from of course the added bits and pieces that I hope to pick up at City Pharma. I’m really loving a simple skincare routine at the moment, and feel that my skin is feeling incredibly hydrated and all round rather clear. So let’s hope that it stays well behaved this weekend!
